From Loen in Nordfjord, you can hike to the historic Skålatårnet at the summit of Jotunheimen. Built in 1891, the structure features 1.25-meter thick walls made of concrete and rough stone.

To halt moisture migration through the joints and prevent further deterioration of the structure, the entire building was impregnated with Controll Innerseal.
